Ingredients

  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - egg
  • 2-3 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 can fruit cocktail
  • 1-3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts

How To Make fruit cocktail pudding

  • Step 1
    Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. In a 2 quart casserole thoroughly beat together the egg and sugar; stir in vanill and fruit cocktail including the syrup in the can. Stir in the sifted dry ingredients. Mix together the b. sugar, cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over top of pudding. Bake in a moderate(350 degree) oven 40-50 minutes. Serve warm(or reheat) with whipped cream, sour cream or whipped cream cheese. Makes 6 servings.
