Ingredients
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 2-3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 can fruit cocktail
- 1-3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts

Step 1Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. In a 2 quart casserole thoroughly beat together the egg and sugar; stir in vanill and fruit cocktail including the syrup in the can. Stir in the sifted dry ingredients. Mix together the b. sugar, cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over top of pudding. Bake in a moderate(350 degree) oven 40-50 minutes. Serve warm(or reheat) with whipped cream, sour cream or whipped cream cheese. Makes 6 servings.
