    sifted flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1
  • 2-3 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    fruit cocktail
  • 1-3 c
    firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 c
    coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts

How to Make Fruit Cocktail Pudding


  1. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. In a 2 quart casserole thoroughly beat together the egg and sugar; stir in vanill and fruit cocktail including the syrup in the can. Stir in the sifted dry ingredients. Mix together the b. sugar, cinnamon and nuts; sprinkle over top of pudding. Bake in a moderate(350 degree) oven 40-50 minutes. Serve warm(or reheat) with whipped cream, sour cream or whipped cream cheese. Makes 6 servings.
