fruit cake truffles

I used 100gram chocolate but I felt it wasnt enough. Adjust amount to own taste or maybe mix in some chocolate bits to get more of a 'hit' if you are a chocoholic like me.

Ingredients For fruit cake truffles

  • 3 c
    fruit cake crumbs
  • 100-200 g
    chocolate
  • 25 g
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    rum, sherry or orange liquer

How To Make fruit cake truffles

    Melt butter & chocolate in microwave on medium (about 2 minutes)

    Put fruit cake into food processor & blend into crumbs. Measure 3 cups. Add rum. Blend. Add chocolate/butter mix & process until it all comes together.

    Refrigerate an hour before shaping into balls. Roll in coconut, cocoa, or hot chocolate powder Keep refrigerated.
