Step-by-Step

  • 1TOAST BREAD AND SPREAD WITH ALL THE BUTTER WHILE HOT.ARRANGE TOAST IN A BUTTERED BAKING PAN.SPRINKLE WITH RAISINS.
  • 2STIR SALT AND ALL BUT 2 T. OF THE SUGAR INTO EGGS,ADD MILK AND VANILLA FLAVOR AND STIR TO MIX WELL.POUR OVER THE TOAST AND LET STAND 10 MIN.
  • 3PRESS TOAST LIGHTLY DOWN INTO MILK OCCASIONALLY SO IT SOAKS UP MOST OF THE MILK MIXTURE.
  • 4MIX CINNAMON WITH REMAINING 2T. SUGAR AND SPRINKLE OVER TOP.PLACE DISH DIRECTLY ON OVEN RACK.
  • 5BAKE IN MODERATE OVEN 350*ABOUT 25 MIN.OR UNTIL KNIFE INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN AND TOP IS BROWN....SERVE WARM OR COLD
