Ingredients For eggnog bread pudding

  • large baking pan, 10 large eggs, 2 cups eggnog, 2 cups half and half,lttle nutmeg, little cinnamon
  • whole loaf soft italian bread or egg bread or coissants
  • raisins if desired
  • confectioners' sugar, milk or water

How To Make eggnog bread pudding

    350 oven, butter pan , break up bread and pack evenly. whisk eggs then add eggnog half and half and nutmeg. Whisk well and pour over bread, mix raisins evenly. Push bread down so all liquid coats pieces. Let soak at least two hours or overnight. When ready to bake sprinkle little cinn. over top.

    bake covered loosely with foil but remove at least ten to fifteen minutes before finished. Will take 45-60 minutes or until knife in center come out fairly clean...DO NOT OVERCOOK

    let cool a bit then mix confectioners sugar with water or milk and drizzle creatively on top. SERVE WARM, can be frozen or leftovers can be warmed easily from frig in microwave
