(1 pint) half and half
1/4 c
sugar
a pinch
salt
1 tsp
vanilla
1/8 tsp
nutmeg

How to Make Egg Custard

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat the oven to 325° F.
  • 2Add the ingredients to blender and mix, about 10 seconds.
  • 3Pour into ramekins, sprinkle with nutmeg, and put the ramekins in a baking dish.
  • 4Add water to the baking dish until it’s halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  • 5Bake for 45 minutes or until just set. Makes 6 (4 ounce) servings.
