Ingredients
- 4 cups mixed berries (blackberries,blueberries, raspberries & strawberries) sliced & divided.
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup minute tapioca pudding
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup cool whip, thawed
How To Make easy berry compote

Step 1First in a medium saucepan crush 2 cups of the berries with a fork or masher. Then add in the remaining 2 cups berries, sugar & tapioca. Mix very well, stir in the water & let stand for 5 mins.

Step 2Next bring to full boil over medium heat. Make sure to stir constantly. Pour into a serving bowl. Cool slightly & cover with a plastic wrap.

Step 3Then refrigerate for about 3 hours or until thickened. Then spoon evenly into a dessert dish & top with COOL WHIP.

Step 4Special Tip: You can spoon over vanilla ice cream or a slice of pie or cake.
