This is a good pudding that I love to have once in a while. It's easy and simple to make.

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • - ground nutmeg, optional

How To Make easy baked vanilla pudding

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, and salt.
  • Step 2
    Add in the vanilla extract and half of the milk. Combine well with the eggs/sugar mixture, making sure sugar is dissolved.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the rest of the milk.
  • Step 4
    After fully blending, pour into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle top with ground nutmeg if desired.
  • Step 5
    Bake in the oven for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Step 6
    Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Place in the refrigerator and chill completely. Cut into squares to serve.
