Ingredients
- 12 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- - ground nutmeg, optional
How To Make easy baked vanilla pudding

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, and salt.

Step 2Add in the vanilla extract and half of the milk. Combine well with the eggs/sugar mixture, making sure sugar is dissolved.

Step 3Stir in the rest of the milk.

Step 4After fully blending, pour into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle top with ground nutmeg if desired.

Step 5Bake in the oven for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Step 6Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Place in the refrigerator and chill completely. Cut into squares to serve.
