This is my momma's recipe. When we all get together at her house, she always has to triple it just to be sure she gets some. There just ain't none better.

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can eagle brand cream
- 3 - egg yolks, reserve whites
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/8 tablespoon salt
- 2 - bananas
- - vanilla wafers cookies
- 2 tablespoons sugar

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a medium bowl, mix cream, milk, and egg yolks.

Step 3In a medium saucepan, mix flour, sugar and salt.

Step 4Pour cream mixture over dried mixture and whisk.

Step 5Slice bananas and add to mixture.

Step 6Cook over medium to low heat, whisking constantly. When it thickens it is ready.

Step 7Pour cooked mixture over vanilla wafers.

Step 8Using egg whites with 2 T. sugar, beat in a metal bowl until it is foaming.

Step 9Pour over pudding, and cook until egg whites have browned.
