This is a big hit for any occasion. To make it fun you can put it in a terra cotta pot and add gummy worms and candy flowers for the "dirt effect". Also make individual cups for kids for fun as well.

Ingredients

1 stick butter, room temperature
1 cup powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
3 cups milk
2 boxes vanilla pudding (3.4oz) each
16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 package oreos crushed
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

How To Make dirt cake

Step 1

In a small bowl cream together butter and cream cheese. Once creamy add powdered sugar. Mix well then set aside.

Step 2

In a large bowl combine vanilla pudding, milk, and vanilla. Then add cream cheese mixture. Once mixed really good fold in whipped topping until your mix is smooth and creamy.
Step 3

Now you can start layering. Start with cream/pudding mix,then crushed oreo, and so forth. Make sure you end with oreos on top. I mormally use a 9x13 pan with only 2 layers. There are many options to use as far as pans are concerned.
Step 4

Once completed refrigerate for a couple of hours. Can also be made ahead or overnite. Enjoy!!!!
