Creamy Rice Pudding
If you have 45 minutes, you can be enjoying this delicious comfort food too! One of the best I ever had.
3/4 cuncooked white rice ( i used uncle bens long grain rice )
2 cwater ( if using long grain) if using medium use 1 1/2 cups water
2 cmilk, divided
1/3 csugar or more if desired
1/4 tspcinnamon, or more if you prefer
How to Make Creamy Rice Pudding
- Bring 1 1/2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan, ( if using long grain rice use 2 cups water) stir rice into boiling water. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
If rice is not tender after the 20 minutes, add a bit more water and cook a bit longer. Mine was cooked within the allotted time.
