So rich and so creamy, your sure to love this. This is one of those recipes that you can just whip right up, when you have leftover rice from supper.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 quart half and half
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

How To Make creamy rice pudding

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 2 quart baking dish, In a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, scald the milk and remove from heat. Add the rice , sugar, and salt. Mix well and slowly add the eggs, vanilla, and butter. Pour mixture into a 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg on top. Bake for 40 min.
