So rich and so creamy, your sure to love this. This is one of those recipes that you can just whip right up, when you have leftover rice from supper.

Ingredients

1 c
cooked white rice
1 qt
half and half
1/2 c
sugar
1/4 tsp
salt
2 large
eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 tsp
butter
1 pinch
ground nutmeg

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 2 quart baking dish, In a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, scald the milk and remove from heat. Add the rice , sugar, and salt. Mix well and slowly add the eggs, vanilla, and butter. Pour mixture into a 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg on top. Bake for 40 min.
