I have spent my hole married life trying to cook as good as my mother-in-law and now 30 years later her meals still taste better. This recipe is one of our family favorites.

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup nuts
2 / 8oz - cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
2 cups cool whip
1 / 6oz - instant vanilla pudding
1 / 6oz - instant chocolate pudding
2 packages dream whip
5 cups milk
- grated chocolate & nuts to top

How To Make cream cheese chocolate pudding dessert

Step 1

Crust: Blend 1cup flour and 1/2 cup butter add 1cup chopped nuts. put into ungreased 9x13 pan. Bake at 360 for 20 minutes. cool

Step 2

2nd layer: mix and spread on crust 2 8oz cream cheese, 2cups powder sugar, 2 cups cool whip.
Step 3

3rd layer:1 6oz instant vanilla pudding, 1 6oz instant chocolate pudding, 2 envelopes dream whip, 5 cups milk. Mix dream whip according to directions. add both dry puddings and the remainder of milk (after making dream whip) mix and pour over 2nd layer. refrigerate 3 to 4 hrs.
Step 4

topping: spread cool whip over the top. sprinkle with grated chocolate and chopped nuts. refrigerate. Make 12 to 24 hrs. ahead to set well.
