This is a very easy dessert to throw together in a short time , can be made with any flavor of pudding that you choose.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUST :

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pecans or walnuts
  • FOR THE FILLING :

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2/3 c
    powdered sugar
  • FOR PUDDING TOPPING :

  • 2 1/2 c
    cold milk
  • 2 (3.5oz) box
    instant coconut cream pudding
  • 1 c
    cool whip
  • ·
    coconut , maraschino cherries nuts for garnish

How to Make Coconut Pudding Dessert

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the crust ingredients together and press in the bottom of a 9x9" baking dish ; Bake @ 350° for 12-15 minutes ; let cool completely.
  2. Cream together the cream cheese and the powdered sugar ; Fold in 1/2 cup of the cool whip until well mixed ; Spread over top of the crust. Place in the refrigerator while your making the pudding.
  3. Add the milk to the pudding and mix according to the PKG. instructions ; spread on top of cream cheese mixture ; Top with the remaining cool whip and refrigerate until serving. Garnish with coconut , cherries and nuts.
