Coconut Pudding Dessert

Ingredients

FOR THE CRUST :

1 call purpose flour
-
1/2 cbutter
-
2 Tbspsugar
-
1/4 cchopped pecans or walnuts

FOR THE FILLING :
-
8 ozcream cheese, room temperature
-
2/3 cpowdered sugar
-
FOR PUDDING TOPPING :
-
2 1/2 ccold milk
-
2 (3.5oz) boxinstant coconut cream pudding
-
1 ccool whip
-
·coconut , maraschino cherries nuts for garnish
How to Make Coconut Pudding Dessert
- Mix the crust ingredients together and press in the bottom of a 9x9" baking dish ; Bake @ 350° for 12-15 minutes ; let cool completely.
- Cream together the cream cheese and the powdered sugar ; Fold in 1/2 cup of the cool whip until well mixed ; Spread over top of the crust. Place in the refrigerator while your making the pudding.
- Add the milk to the pudding and mix according to the PKG. instructions ; spread on top of cream cheese mixture ; Top with the remaining cool whip and refrigerate until serving. Garnish with coconut , cherries and nuts.
