this is one of my Money Cook's Saver Easy everyday cooking Recipes I have that sits in a plastic recipe container I've made this one at least 2 times and it's excellent in every way and actually very quick and easy to make and put together.

It's chocolate whats not to like about chocolate. Yum yum.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c
    sugar divided
  • 1 c
    wholewheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    pure almond extract
  • 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    boiling water

How to Make Cocoa-Almond Pudding Treat

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees F. Grease a 2 quart baking dish. Combine 2/3 cup sugar, flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl.
  2. Add oil, milk and vanilla and almond extracts to flour, mix well. Spread batter in prepared baking dish.
  3. Combine cocoa and remaining sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle over batter.
  4. Pour boiling water over batter; do not stir.
  5. Bake until top looks cracked and crisp about 30 minues. Let cool slightly; server warm
