Ingredients
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding
- 16 ounces whole milk
- 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 pound bread, cubed
How To Make bread pudding (quick version), mark's
-
Step 11. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Butter the inside of a 3-quart casserole; set aside. 3. In a medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix, evaporated milk, almonds, and spices 4, Add bread (cut into pieces) Stir together until well combined and bread is saturated. 5. Bake bread pudding in preheated oven for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean
-
Step 2Notes: In my experience, you can use a little less bread or a little more milk - the proportions seem to come out a little drier than I personally like (partly because I'm not big on doing a pudding or sauce on top)
