Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 slices french bread thick slices
  • 4 tablespoons golden raisins or dried blueberries
  • 1 - egg
  • 2/3 cup nonfat milk
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

How To Make bread pudding for 2

  • Step 1
    Spray 2-6 7 oz ramekins with nonstick cooking spray preheat oven to 350. Cube bread and measure out 1 cup of cubes place cubes in the prepared ramekins and divide the raisins or blueberries between the 2.
  • Step 2
    In a small dish beat together milk, egg and stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla mixing well. Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Step 3
    Place on a cookie sheet just in case it cooks over and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm.
