french bread thick slices
4 Tbsp
golden raisins or dried blueberries

egg
2/3 c
nonfat milk
3 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
3/4 tsp
cinnamon
1 dash(es)
salt
1 Tbsp
butter, melted

Step-by-Step

  • 1Spray 2-6 7 oz ramekins with nonstick cooking spray preheat oven to 350. Cube bread and measure out 1 cup of cubes place cubes in the prepared ramekins and divide the raisins or blueberries between the 2.
  • 2In a small dish beat together milk, egg and stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla mixing well. Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes and drizzle with melted butter.
  • 3Place on a cookie sheet just in case it cooks over and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve warm.
