Ingredients
- 4 - eggs slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- pinch - salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 4 cups milk, scalded
- 3 cups bread cubed
- 2/3 cup raisins
- 1 - unpealed apple diced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make bread pudding

Step 1lightly butter a 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Stir eggs and blend in sugar, salt, vanilla and spices. Add milk slowly stirring add bread and fruit then dot with butter. Bake in moderate oven (350) about 1 hour
