I got this recipe from my mother-in-law Ann. Its the best recipe for bread pudding I have ever had.

Ingredients
- 2 - slightly beaten eggs
- 2 1/4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups bread cubed (5 or 6 slices)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup raisins
- BUTTER SAUCE INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar or brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make bread pudding

Step 1Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.

Step 2Add bread cubes as well as brown sugar and raisins.

Step 3Mix ingredients together and pour into round cake pan.

Step 4Place round cake pan into bigger more shallow pan and fill 1in deep hot water. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Step 5BUTTER SAUCE

Step 6Melt butter in saucepan.

Step 7Combine sugar and flour and add to melted butter.

Step 8Slowly add water while stirring constantly. Until mixture is smooth.

Step 9Add vanilla and blend well. Spoon sauce over bread pudding and serve warm.
