6 slicewhite bread (slightly toasted, cut into 1-1/2 to 2 inch pieces)
1 1/4 csugar
2 tspvanilla extract
How to Make Bread Pudding
- Butter bottom and sides of a 9 inch square or round baking dish. Place bread squares in bottom of pan. With hand whip, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, spices and salt until well blended. Add milk and beat well.
- Pour liquid mixture over bread. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit until knife inserted in center comes out clean. May sprinkle with powdered sugar.
