This is an old family recipe I found in my Flavors of Cape Cod cookbook posted by Mary C. Gleason ~ Hope you enjoy it !

Ingredients
- 3 cups blueberries
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup softened butter
- - dash vanilla
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons grated orange rind
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 6 tablespoons grand marnier (optional)
How To Make blueberry american pudding

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Simmer blueberries in brown sugar and 6 tablespoons butter.

Step 2Cream sugar, 2/3 cup butter and vanilla. Add eggs and beat. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into creamed sugar and butter mixture. Add orange rind and juice.

Step 3Place blueberry mixture in bottom of a 3 quart baking dish. Pour batter over berries, Bake 45 minutes. Whip cream and add grand marnier and serve as topping. Serves 10-12
