Ingredients

  • 2 - 3 oz. packages peach jell-o
  • 2 - 3 oz. packages vanilla pudding, non-instant (do not buy instant!)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup peaches, diced, canned in heavy syrup (can use sliced to - but diced works better)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • - whipped cream, unsweetened
  • - pecans, chopped (optional) (i like it better without the nuts)

How To Make bavarian peach salad

  • Step 1
    Add jell-o & sugar to boiling water & stir until dissolved. Drain the peaches, reserving 1/3 c. of the juice.
  • Step 2
    Stir juice into the jello. Chill until slightly thick. Prepare pudding with the milk. Let it sit 5 minutes until thickened. Fold into the thickened jell-o. Stir in peaches. Pour into a mold or dish & chill until firm.
  • Step 3
    Serve with whipped cream & nuts (if using).
  • Step 4
    OPTIONS - Can be also made with: Mandarin Oranges with Orange Jell-O Fruit Cocktail with Cherry Jell-O
