banana split pudding

This is a very easy "company" dessert that will look like you worked for hours to make. It takes the regular banana pudding up a notch..... It just takes a few minutes to prepare and a few hours in the fridge and you have an impressive dessert for your guests. I don't have a picture yet but I will post one the next time I make this.

Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla wafers cookies
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries
  • 1-2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1-2 - ripe bananas
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits
  • 1 large box instant vanilla pudding
  • 2-3 cups cold milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 - regular size tub of cool whip
  • 1 - container of glaze for strawberries
  • - chocolate syrup for drizzling
  • OPTIONAL ADDITIONS:
  • - maraschino cherries
  • - chopped nuts

How To Make banana split pudding

  • Step 1
    Line a 9x13 baking dish with cookies.
  • Step 2
    Mix pudding mix per instructions on box let stand in refrigerator just until set add sweetened milk and cool whip.
  • Step 3
    Put sugar on strawberries and let set then drain excess moisture off then mix with strawberry glaze.
  • Step 4
    Layer pudding mixture on top of cookies then strawberry mixture then layer of banana slices. Repeat layering again ending with cookies on top.
  • Step 5
    Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
