two boxes banana cream instant pudding and pie filling mix 3.4 ounces each
three medium bananas, sliced
2 cups vanilla wafers, such as nabisco nilla wafers
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
ground nutmeg for garnish optional


1make pudding mix according to package directions. Layer pudding, banana slices and vanilla wafers evenly among four large wine glasses or dessert bowls. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
2In a medium bowl, beat cream and sugar at high speed with a mixer just until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla. Spoon whipped cream over puddings. Garnish with nutmeg if desired. Makes four servings
