two boxes banana cream instant pudding and pie filling mix 3.4 ounces each
three medium bananas, sliced
2 cups vanilla wafers, such as nabisco nilla wafers
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
ground nutmeg for garnish optional

How to Make Banana pudding


  • 1make pudding mix according to package directions. Layer pudding, banana slices and vanilla wafers evenly among four large wine glasses or dessert bowls. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
  • 2In a medium bowl, beat cream and sugar at high speed with a mixer just until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla. Spoon whipped cream over puddings. Garnish with nutmeg if desired. Makes four servings
