- 1 cup rice,uncooked valencia rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 - cinnamon stick
- 1/2 - lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
How To Make arroz con leche aka rice pudding

Step 1In a medium pot bring the water and rice to a boil, add in the cinnamon stick, lemon peel & vanilla extract...reduce to low for 20 mins.

Step 2stir in the condensed milk and evaporated milk, stirring constantly, so it doesn't stick, add in the corn starch and continue to stir till thickened about 15 mins.

Step 3add in raisins ( if desired)...set aside and let cool...you can pour in individual ramikens or leave in a large bowl...sprinkle with cinnamon.
