I put the ends of bread, stale dinner rolls etc in the freezer and make this up when I get a bag full or so.

Ingredients
- 4 cups bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 cups apples pealed, cored and sliced - if you preffer to leave the peals on i would recommend dicing the apples small
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups half and half
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs, beaten
How To Make apple bread pudding

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a baking pan. (app. 7x11)

Step 2Combine bread crumbs, apples, and raisins.

Step 3On stove top blend the brown sugar, milk and butter to a gentle boil and pour this mixture over the bread mixture. Let this rest for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4Meanwhile combine the cinnamon, vanilla and beaten eggs.

Step 5Gently pour the bread and milk mixture into your greased pan. Drizzle the egg mix over this.

Step 6Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or untill the center is set and the edges start pulling away from sides of pan.

Step 7Serve warm with cream or vanilla sauce (see my recipe).
