This is a recipe from Baker's Coconut (General Mills). Recipe and picture used with permission. Although I can't take any credit for this one its so good I couldn't resist posting it. It truly is wickedly rich and I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients

  • 4 - squares baker's semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 can (13 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1 1/3 cups angel flake coconut
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 - unbaked 9 inch pie shell
  • - cool whip or whipped cream for topping

How To Make wickedly rich pie

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter together. Add milk, coconut, and sugar and mix well. Mixture should have cooled a bit. If not wait a few minutes. Stir in beaten eggs. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 30 minutes. Cool before cutting. Serve with whipped topping. Store any leftovers in refrigerator.
