Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 - eggs , beaten
  • 2 - 9 inch pie shells

How To Make white potato pie

  • Step 1
    PREHEAT OVEN 350*
  • Step 2
    IN A MED.BOWL MIX SUGAR, BAKING POWDER,AND SALT. NOW ADD POTATOES AND BUTTER (MIX WELL).GRADUALLY ADD WHIPPING CREAM AND MILK ,STIRRING UNTIL WELL BLENDED,NOW STIR IN LEMON RIND, LEMON JUICE, VANILLA ,AND NUTMEG.ADD BEATEN EGGS AND MIX WELL.

    POUR MIXTURE INTO PIE SHELLS AND BAKE IN PREHEATED OVEN FOR 55 MIN. OR UNTIL KNIFE INSERTED IN THE CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN.

    SERVE COLD
