I found this recipe in an old cookbook that I checked out at a library. It tastes wonderful.

I've never tried it with store bought pie filling (4 Cups).

Like all cobblers, it's good with ice cream or home-made whipped cream.

Ingredients

1 c
all purpose flour
1 c
sugar
3/4 c
whole milk
1/4 lb
butter, melted
1 pinch
salt
1 tsp
baking powder
1 qt
home preserved fruit

Step-By-Step

1Mix first 6 ingredients together.
2Butter an 8"x8" glass casserole dish. Pour the batter into the dish.
3Pour on the fruit, juice and all.

Sprinkle with sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for an hour.
