How to Make WALNUT TASSIS
- Cream Cheese Pastry
Soften cream cheese and butter and blend together. Stir in flour, Chill 1 hour
Shape into 1" balls; place in ungreased 1-3/4" muffin pans, pressing dough evenly on bottom and sides. (I use the back of a 1/2 tsp measuring spoon to help do this.)
- Walnut Filling:
Beat together egg, vanill, salt, brn sugar and 1
TBLSP. butter, just until smooth. Add walnuts and stir.
- Fill pastry cups 1/2 full. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool before removing from pan.
