2In a small bowl combine brown sugar and butter, stir in pecans. arrange in the bottom of the prepared pie plate

4With the pecans arranged in the bottom of the pie pan. now put one of the pie crust over them.
Then add filling and the other crust. Brush top crust with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
5Place pie on the cookie sheet in case of boil over. Cook for 15 minutes on 425. Turn oven down to 375 for 45 minutes. If crust is getting too brown: cover with pie shield or aluminum foil. Cool for 15 minutes the invert on a plate. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
