Ingredients
- 1 - unbaked pie crust
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
How To Make unbeatable pecan pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a heavy skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over low heat. Add nuts and stir for about 5 minutes or until nuts begin to color. Let cool for 10 minutes.

Step 3Mix together the beaten eggs, maple syrup, sugar, 1/3 cup melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir in the cooled nuts.

Step 4Pour filling into crust. Bake 45 - 50 minutes or until filling is set. Cool before cutting.
