- 2 - washed lemons
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 - eggs
- - double pie crust
How To Make two crust ohio lemon pie

Step 1cut off ends of lemons.place on a cutting board to catch juice. slice into paper thin slices, remove any seeds

Step 2combine lemon slices, juice and sugar. let stand 2 hours at room temperature

Step 3beat eggs with salt and add to lemon mixture

Step 4put in pastry shell

Step 5cover with top crust, seal and slit

Step 6bake first 15 minutes 425 degrees

Step 7turn heat down to 350 degrees, bake additional 30 to 40 minutes
