This is an old recipe. I've posted it as it is written. It's really rich and good. My great-aunt would make it.

Ingredients

  • - 4 whole eggs
  • - 2 cups sugar
  • - 1 cup cream
  • - 1 cup buttewr
  • - 1 teaspoon flour

How To Make transparent pie

  • Step 1
    Cook to the thickness of heavy cream.
  • Step 2
    Put in unbaked pie shell.
  • Step 3
    Top with meringue and brown.
  • Step 4
    No bake times or oven degree were given. I use a 350 degee oven and bake until center doesn't jiggle or a knife comes out clean. Then I add meringue if wanted and brown.
