tina's oatmeal pie shell
This shell is a bit healthier than the usual white flour one. I bet it would be good filled with Butterscotch pudding pie filling

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked rolled oats
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
How To Make tina's oatmeal pie shell

Step 1Mix all and press into greased pie pan.

Step 2Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Step 3I have made this with a filling of beating 1 can almond pie fill, 8 oz. cream cheese, zest of 1 lemon, 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice and 1 Tablespoon Gran Marnier. Mound into cooled shell. Garnish with sliced toasted almonds and chill

Step 4It would also be yummy with maple nut or butter pecan ice cream filling....oh the possibilities are endless!!
