tina's amazing buttermilk pie
This is THE recipe to use if you don't have time, don't have fruit and don't have energy! It is the easiest dessert you can imagine! You can even sour your own milk if you don't have butter milk. Place 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar in a measuring cup and fill it up to the 8 oz. line then let rest on the counter for 5 minutes before chucking it in the blender.

- 1-1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup biscuit mix (jiffy or bisquick)
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond, lemon, rum, or brandy extract (optional)
- 3 - eggs

Step 3Pour into well greased deep dish pie pan, 10 in pie pan, 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes
