Ingredients
- 5 - granny smith apples
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or cherries or raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup orange juice, fresh
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1 package refrigerated pie crust
- 6 tablespoons butter half cut into small pieces half melted

Step 1Slice peeled apples into a bowl with the orange juice. Let soak for fifteen minutes. Drain

Step 2mix the rest of the ingredients into apples and pour into pie shell.Top with 1 half cut up butter.

Step 3Add top crust and flute edges.Brush with remainder of melted butter then cut vents and bake till the crust is golden brown. About 50 minutes
