I made this pie for the first time back in 2003. It very quickly became one of the families favorite and is made every fall. It has become a Thanksgiving favorite.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dash ginger
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped (if desired)
- 2 - uncooked pieshells
How To Make sweet potato pie

Step 1Boil potatoes until done. Mix with other ingedients.

Step 2Bake until done at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

Step 3Makes two pies and can be frozen.
