I made this to bring for Thanksgiving several years ago it's always a hit with the grandchildren serve with fresh whipped cream. It's a good way to use leftover sweet potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 3 large
    sweet potatoes( prebaked)
  • 1 can(s)
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla or orange extract
  • 1 pkg
    pie crust
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar

How to Make sweet potato pie

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl mash sweet potatoes and add remaining ingredients except pie crust.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  3. Fit pie crust into pie plate (I like to use refrigerated roll out dough).
  4. Pour sweet potato mixture into pie shell and bake in preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean .Let cool on wire rack.
