sweet poatato pie
This recipe was passed down to me from my mom. I grew up always eating sweet potato pie during the holidays instead of pumpkin. This is an oldie but goodie in my family. This is super easy and delish!!

Ingredients
- 2 - prepared pie shells
- 2 cups cooked and smashed sweet poatatoes
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3/4 cup cream or half and half
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make sweet poatato pie

Step 1preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Prepare sweet potatoed ..I use canned sweet potatoes and heat them up on the stove..Some people bake or boil fresh

Step 3Smash warm sweet potatoes and add butter..stir until melted. Add the rest of ingredients saving the half and half until last.

Step 4Pour equal amounts into two pie shells. Bake for 1 hour

Step 5Serve warm or or room temp
