This will not look like the typical apple pie when served. It will appear more like a cobbler.

Ingredients

  • 1 - apples, red delicious
  • 2 - apples, granny smith
  • 2 - regular pie shells
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup i can't believe it's not butter
  • 1/2 cup splenda half and half

How To Make super simple apple cobbler pie (diet)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash the all apples. Core and slice the Granny Smith apples. Core and dice the red delicious apple. (removing skins is not necessary)
  • Step 2
    Mix the apples togather in a large bowl.
  • Step 3
    Combine margerin, cinnamon and splenda in a sauce pan. Melt the ingredients to a boil.
  • Step 4
    Add all apple to one pie shell.
  • Step 5
    Pour melted margerine combination over the apples in the pie shell.
  • Step 6
    Place 2nd pie shell over the filled pie shell and pinch the edges. Score the the crust and place the pie in the oven.
  • Step 7
    Bake for 50 minutes.
  • Step 8
    Serve warm. Yummy with sugar-free fat-free whipped toppings or sugar -free ice cream! YUM!
