How to Make Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie
- Heat oven to 400 degrees
- Combine sugar, tapioca, salt and nutmeg. Add rhubarb and strawberries. Mix to coat fruit, let stand 20 minutes.
- Line pie plate with pastry. Fill with mixture and dot with butter.
- Top with second pie shell. (or make a lattice top) Cut slits in pie shell and seal. Brush with beaten egg white, and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake 35-40 minutes
