strawberry-rhubarb pie

I love making this pie all season long, that is if you can find rhubarb, unless you freeze it in your freezer. there is something about this pie that everyone loves besides apple pie that is. enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rhubarb, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 3 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • - double pie crust

How To Make strawberry-rhubarb pie

  • Step 1
    mix rhubarb, strawberries, sugar,flour together. pour into pie shell, add butter pats on top if you wis(up to 1 TBS.) cover with top crust. bake for about 1 hour in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned and bubbly.
