  • 2 c
  • 1 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    cold water (in addition too)
  • 1/4 c
    strawberry jell-o
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1
    graham cracker pie crust

How to Make Strawberry Pie


  1. Mix water and sugar in saucepan and boil until sugar dissolves.
  2. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup water.
  3. Pour this slowly into sugar/water mixture.
  4. This will thicken.
  5. If you do this fast you will get little white lumps. I usually pour a little of the hot mixture into the cornstarch mixture to kind of temper it.
  6. Stir until it is all mixed together and thick.
  7. Remove from heat and add jello, vanilla, & butter
  8. Mix and let cool.
  9. Arrange berries in 9 or 10 inch pie crust.
  10. Pour jello mixture over berries and chill at least 2 hours.
