Ingredients
- 1 quart strawberries
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water (in addition too)
- 1/4 cup strawberry jell-o
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 - graham cracker pie crust
How To Make strawberry pie

Step 1Mix water and sugar in saucepan and boil until sugar dissolves.

Step 2Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup water.

Step 3Pour this slowly into sugar/water mixture.

Step 4This will thicken.

Step 5If you do this fast you will get little white lumps. I usually pour a little of the hot mixture into the cornstarch mixture to kind of temper it.

Step 6Stir until it is all mixed together and thick.

Step 7Remove from heat and add jello, vanilla, & butter

Step 8Mix and let cool.

Step 9Arrange berries in 9 or 10 inch pie crust.

Step 10Pour jello mixture over berries and chill at least 2 hours.
