Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 1/2 cups flake coconut
- 1 quart fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 - .25 ounce envelope unflovored gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
How To Make strawberry pie

Step 1In a small bowl, combine coconut and butter. Press onto the botton and up the side of a greased ( 9-inch pie plate) Bake at 300F degrees for 35 mintues or until lightly brown ( cover edges loosely with foil )to prevent edges from over browning. Cool on wire rack.

Step 2In a large bowl conbine starwberry and sugar;let stand for 15 minutes.In a small sauce pan sprinkle gelatin over cold water; let stand for 1 min.Cook and stir over medium heat until gelatin is disolve; stir in lemon juice. stir into stawberry mixture. Cool to room temperture. fold in whipping cream. Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, then serve.
