One of my favorite pies growing up. So easy too. I'll add a photo once it's set and sliced.

Ingredients

1 - baked - 9 inch pie shell
1 package strawberry jello
1 1/4 cups hot water
2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries - drained if extra juicy
Top - with whipped cream if desired

How To Make ~ strawberry parfait pie ~

Step 1

Bring water to a boil and stir into the strawberry jello. Add the ice cream by spoonfuls and stir until melted. Chill for 15 - 20 minutes or until thick, but not set.

Step 2

Stir in the strawberries and pour into prepared pie crust. Chill until set enough to cut. You can top with whipped cream or serve a dollop with each individual slice, or serve as is. It's great any way you serve it.
