My mom used to make this pie with fresh hand picked strawberries. So easy and delicious!

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1/4 cup strawberry jell-o (small box)
2 cups strawberries, halved
1 - baked 9 inch pastry/pie shell
- cool whip for topping (optional)

How To Make strawberry glaze pie

Step 1

Combine sugar and cornstarch in saucepan, stir in water. Cook over medium heat till thick and clear. Remove from heat and stir in Jell-o. Cool.

Step 2

Place strawberries in cooled pie shell. Pour cooled glaze over berries. Refrigerate pie before serving. Top with cool whip.
