I haven't made this but it sounds good.It sounds easy to put together.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c
    thinly sliced peeled granny smith apples (about 3 med.)
  • 1 1/4
    sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3-4 Tbsp
    flour
  • PASTRY FOR A DOUBLE 9' PIE

  • TOPPING

  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/8 tsp
    cinnamon
  • ·
    whipped topping optional

How to Make Strawberry Apple Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine apples & strawberries,drizzle with lemon juice.
    Combine sugar & flour & sprinkle over fruit and toss lightly.
  2. line a 9" pie plate with bottom crust.
    Add filling.
    Roll out remaining pastry and fit to top of pie.
    Trim seal & flute edges.Cut slits in top..
    Combine sugar and cinnamon;sprinkle over pastry.
    Cover edges loosely with foil.
    Bake in a preheated oven 450 degrees 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350;remove foil.Bake 35-40 minutes more or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly...Cool on a wire rack....Garnish with whipped topping if desired.
