spinnaker's caribbean cream pie
When I lived in Gaithersburg, my special occasional treat was a piece of Caribbean Cream Pie from a Spinnaker's restaurant in the Lakeforest mall. I tasted and tried to make, then tasted, and tried again, until I got as close as I could to this recipe. So when the restaurants closed, I could still enjoy my pie! It took me until November of 1994, but I finally got the recipe right!
