This recipe came to me from a very dear friend. I have made it several times and everyone enjoys it.

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1 cup sugar
3 - eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1 - 9" pie crust, unbaked

How To Make southern pecan pie

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, melt the butter.

Step 2

Add the syrup and sugar; Mix well.
Step 3

Add the eggs; Mix well and add pecans.
Step 4

Stir and pour into pie crust.
Step 5

Bake 1 hour, checking for doneness after 45 minutes, at 350 degrees.
