This recipe came to me from a very dear friend. I have made it several times and everyone enjoys it.

  • 1/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    white corn syrup
  • 1 c
  • 3
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c
    pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1
    9" pie crust, unbaked

How to Make Southern Pecan Pie


  1. In a mixing bowl, melt the butter.
  2. Add the syrup and sugar; Mix well.
  3. Add the eggs; Mix well and add pecans.
  4. Stir and pour into pie crust.
  5. Bake 1 hour, checking for doneness after 45 minutes, at 350 degrees.
