One of my favorite pies is this recipe for Southern Pecan Pie. I make pecan pie during the Holidays.

Ingredients
- 3 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- - 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
How To Make southern pecan pie

Step 1Beat eggs; blend in butter; flour, vanilla, salt, sugar and corn syrup.

Step 2Sprinkle pecans over pie crust; pour egg mixture over pecans.

Step 3Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue baking for 40 minutes or until middle is set.
